Biography

Jessica Thompson began her career over six years ago working at the original Wah Nails salon in Dalston. After perfecting her skills she decided to start her own endeavor in Brick Lane, where she opened a nail desk in the popular fashion destination ‘The Village Bicycle’ where she attracted a loyal following.

With a creative mother and couture designer for a father it was only natural that Jessica would want to develop her artistic streak through her trade. It was therefore only a matter of time before she got booked on her first fashion shoot and was instantly hooked. From then she knew she would find it hard to work in a salon again, so set her heart on becoming a session manicurist where she would get the opportunity to work with amazing talent and creatives alike, since then she has not looked back.

Along her journey Jessica has led fashion shows for Jeremy Scott, Moschino and Boy London. She has also worked on shows for Gucci, Christian Dior, Vivienne Westwood and Gareth Pugh with many more to mention.

Through her ambitiousness and hard work she has been able to work internationally in places such as Dubai, Milan, Mumbai, Paris and Berlin, and worked with well known names such as Rita Ora, Jourdan Dunn, Ella Purnell and Natalie Portman.

With enthusiasm and perseverance Jessica has demonstrated a keen eye for detail, which is apparent in the quality and finish of her work, which makes her a welcomed addition to any team.
